The top ten Chinese automobile brands are Geely, Great Wall, Chery, Changan, BYD, Dongfeng, GAC, FAW, BAIC, and Haima. Although Geely entered the automotive sector relatively late, it has demonstrated strong overall competitiveness in both the sedan and SUV markets.
2. Top 10 Domestic Sedan Brands
The leading domestic sedan brands are Hongqi, Geely, BYD, Chery, Sylphy, Changan, Wuling, Baojun, Brilliance, and JMC. Hongqi, under China FAW Group, is one of the country’s most prestigious brands and is ranked among China’s Top 500 enterprises. Hongqi is positioned in the premium passenger car market.
