In order to keep pace with changes in the household sedan market and to further meet users’ demands for power, intelligence, smart driving, and comfortable space, Dongfeng Nissan launched the Sylphy e-POWER, followed by the all-new Sylphy Super-Hybrid. With its features of being “fast, smooth, quiet, and efficient,” it has won wide recognition and favor from consumers.
So, what highlights of the all-new Dongfeng Nissan Sylphy Super-Hybrid deserve our special attention? In the highly competitive compact household sedan market, how does it manage to maintain its position as the sales champion? And compared with many other joint-venture compact sedans, is it the smarter choice?
Timeless Exterior and Interior Design, Appealing to All
The Sylphy Super-Hybrid continues Nissan’s V-Motion family design with a wider grille and star-pattern front fascia, paired with the new flat Nissan logo for a stylish, upscale look. Redesigned LED headlights and daytime running lights are sleeker and more refined, offering higher visibility. The body features smooth, dynamic lines with a floating roof, 17-inch alloy wheels, and an exclusive e-POWER badge. At the rear, clean lines, smoked LED taillights, and a subtle ducktail spoiler create a modern, sporty feel. A wide range of exterior colors further highlights Nissan’s craftsmanship.
Inside, two-tone brown/black or blue/black interiors are available. The T-shaped dashboard layout is clean and practical, complemented by a D-shaped multifunction steering wheel, electronic shifter, circular air vents, and ambient lighting. Quilted leather ergonomic seats provide excellent support and comfort, while the 12.3-inch display and optional BOSE audio system enhance the sense of technology and premium quality.
Overall, the Sylphy Super-Hybrid’s design is youthful, durable, and timeless—appealing to all ages and sure to remain attractive even years down the road. But beyond design, what truly sets it apart lies in its powertrain, smart connectivity, intelligent driving features, and spacious comfort.
Powered by Second-Generation e-POWER: Fast, Smooth, Quiet, and Efficient
The powertrain is the “heart” of a car. The Sylphy Super-Hybrid adopts Nissan’s second-generation e-POWER technology, delivering strong performance, smooth acceleration, and outstanding efficiency.
The system combines an intelligent generator, advanced power control, inverter, motor, and lithium battery. The engine is used only for power generation, enabling 100% electric drive at all times. Sharing the same motor technology as the Nissan LEAF, it produces up to 100kW and 300N·m torque—comparable to many 2.0T models—while keeping fuel consumption as low as 3.96L/100km.
A lighter, more compact inverter ensures quicker response, while the high-performance lithium battery supports fast charge and discharge for stable output and longer lifespan. Depending on driving conditions, the car smartly switches between pure electric drive, engine-generated power, and regenerative braking to stay highly efficient.
Additional features like the e-Pedal one-pedal driving mode, ECO Drive assistant, and intelligent start-stop further extend range and reduce running costs.
ProPILOT Intelligent Drive & ITC Control: Smart and Confident Handling
Smart driving assistance has become essential. The Sylphy Super-Hybrid features the enhanced ProPILOT system, delivering class-leading L2 driver assistance with full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and lane-change assist—all activated with just one button. It operates from 0–144 km/h, keeping the car centered in its lane and adjusting positioning when needed, reducing fatigue on long journeys or in heavy traffic while ensuring safety.
The car also comes with a full suite of active safety features, including forward collision warning, pedal misapplication prevention, rear cross-traffic alert, driver fatigue alert, intelligent emergency braking, blind spot warning, lane departure warning and correction, 360° around-view monitoring, moving object detection, and pedestrian alert systems—greatly enhancing driving confidence.
For handling, the EPS electric power steering offers a tight 5.3m turning radius, while the ITC Intelligent Trace Control improves cornering by applying precise wheel braking, ensuring smoother and more stable performance on winding roads.
Nissan Connect 2.0: Smart Cabin, Always Connected
The Sylphy Super-Hybrid features the Nissan Connect 2.0 system with a 7-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 12.3-inch Retina HD touchscreen. It supports intelligent voice control, online navigation, in-car services, entertainment, and remote monitoring/control via mobile app.
Powered by an 8-core processor with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, the system delivers fast, responsive performance. Voice commands can control climate, windows, sunroof, music, navigation, and calls, often without wake words. The mobile app allows vehicle status checks, location tracking, electronic fence setup, flashing lights, horn alerts, and door lock control.
In-car services include smart home connectivity, maintenance reminders and bookings, smart fueling, OTA updates, and a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot. Navigation uses Amap with features like destination transfer, inertial guidance, and walk navigation. Entertainment apps include Kugou Music, iQiyi Video, and in-car KTV. Notably, Sylphy offers 10 years of free basic data services, showing great value.

The Sylphy Super-Hybrid offers spacious comfort with dimensions of 4649×1815×1445mm and a 2712mm wheelbase, plus a 546L trunk. Combined with 3D Multi-Layer ergonomic seats inspired by zero-gravity aerospace technology, every seat feels premium and supportive.
Comfort is enhanced with smart features: keyless entry with auto-lock, speed-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, dual-zone climate control with PM2.5 filter, power-adjustable driver seat, one-touch windows, rear air vents, USB-A & USB-C ports, and more.
Additional amenities include ambient LED lighting across doors, center console, and shifter area; 15W wireless phone charging; an 8-speaker BOSE audio system for premium entertainment; and EPB electronic parking brake with Auto Hold for safer, smoother stops.
